Guidance services are available to every student at McKinley STEAM Academy. The counselors want to help you and your student decide what to do about learning problems, difficulties with others, or any other concerns you may have. Hazel Health Information: We have an exciting announcement: for this year, Cedar Rapids Community School District, is offering all students access to a free online counseling and therapy program through our partnership with Hazel Health. This service is 100% confidential and is completely free to families, for all students regardless of insurance status.
Through this program, your child can work 1-on-1 with a licensed therapist in weekly video sessions, which they can have at school or at home. Please note, no care will be provided without guardian consent.
