McKinley’s Open House is on Tuesday, August 20. 6th grade open house is from 4 to 5:30 pm; 7th and 8th grade open house is from 5:00 to 6:30 pm

Verification of student information, consent forms, and release agreements need to be updated each year. This is done on the parent portal of Infinite Campus. Click on the menu and choose “More” the click on “Registration”. If you have not completed Annual Verification for your child, please take a moment to get it done for all of your CRCSD students.
There is an Infinite Campus App available for download on your Apple or Android device. Search Google Play or the App Store to find the app.

*All incoming 6th graders eligible for bussing will automatically be routed on a bus in the fall. Families do not need to do anything.

*Families living more than 2 miles from McKinley are eligible for transportation.

*7th and 8th graders who received bussing in the 2023-2024 school year, will automatically be routed in the 2024-2025 school year, as long as they are still eligible (haven’t moved or witten in an IEP).

*Bussing never follows an address change. If you have moved, please contact the Counseling Office at 558-2348 to update your address and submit a bus request for the fall.

* If you have an alternate address you want transportation to/from, contact the Counseling Office at 558-2348 to see if the address is eligible for transportation.

*Bus routes can be viewed by parents and students in Infinite Campus under the student’s transportation tab; and in StopFinder beginning August 17. Click on the link below for more information.

*If your student will be riding the city bus, please contact the Counseling Office. We will dismiss those students ten minutes early from class.

Students are annually assessed a “book fee” to cover the cost of services, supplies, materials and other special programs outlined by the School Board.

2024-2025 BOOK (CONSUMABLE) FEE

Full Rate – $60.00

Qualifying Reduced Rate $35.00

To qualify for Reduced or Free Rate, parents must complete BOTH the Meal Magic Family portion AND check ‘yes’ in the Educational Benefits portion screen when doing Online Verification in Infinite Campus. If ‘yes’ is not checked, you will be responsible for the full amount. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on F&N/CEP Parent Information for instructions.

Book Fees can be paid with a credit/debit card through a parent’s Infinite Campus account. Payment may also be made by cash or check payable to McKinley STEAM Academy. All checks should have the Student(s) name or ID number on the memo line.

McKinley is a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school.

All students shall receive one breakfast and lunch daily at no charge.

Students ay purchase extra milk, snacks, second meal/extra entrée/side dishes and/or ala carte with cash or money in their account where available.

School pictures will be used for photo IDs.

School pictures will be taken on August 29. Re-takes will be taken on October 10.
